Activation requires separately qualified storage that satisfies the 90-day retention contract, including backup copies; that requirement remains pending. Downloads and Free Claim remain independent.
Daily totals, not visitor profiles
When enabled and after permission, a first-party request counts a page view or an actual click on a validated binary download link. It sends only fixed categories for the page, campaign placement, and clicked artifact's platform. A page view has no detected platform. Missing or unrecognized campaign values become broad fixed categories; full URLs, query strings, fragments, and referrers are not measurement fields.
The measurement request omits referrer and credentials. No measurement cookies, visitor identifiers, fingerprinting, third-party analytics, wallet details, or claim submissions are collected. When the feature is enabled, one local yes/no preference may be remembered on this device. Requests are optional and their failure never blocks a download.
The retention contract permits only totals grouped by UTC day and those categories, for 90 UTC calendar days including today. Active-store cleanup deletes older totals on the next regular server health check or counted event; during a server outage cleanup resumes on its next health check. Storage and backup handling must also satisfy that contract before activation. No individual event histories are stored.
Essential hosting is a separate boundary
The server and its hosting/security providers necessarily receive connection metadata, including an IP address and ordinary browser transport headers, to serve requests. This measurement endpoint does not persist or export that metadata or use hosting/security logs as analytics input. Essential infrastructure logging is separate from these optional counts; this page does not claim that infrastructure never sees or retains an IP address.
What these totals cannot establish
Counts are events, not unique visitors or verified people. Repeated clicks, reloads, bots, blocked requests, and server limits affect totals. A click is not a completed download or installation. GitHub asset counts and voluntary installation reports are separate populations; no conversion percentage or independent adoption claim follows from combining them.
There is no public individual report or raw measurement export. Already anonymous totals cannot identify a person's withdrawal. Installation reports require separate permission before public quotation; opting into counts is not permission for promotion, email subscription, or recording.
